Berlin-based artist Martin Lau (*1984) came a long way from poetry to today's vocal sound works. After having published a volume of poems and having toured with an experimental musical poetry program, he is now exploring & examining the limits of human articulation. With merely his voice he extends vocal sounds to the ultimate possible, touching & transgressing fields such as sound poetry, vocal improvisation & noise. This album contains 9 improvised tracks recorded with a voice recorder and without any overdubs or production made. It's a radical document of a unique polyphonic vocal sound excess.
